It is strange for me to say
that I am unusually happy
for once.
And for the last time
I saw those birds fly
and I didn’t wish
that I could anymore.
This-
makes me want to stay
forever...
if you’ll let me.
Because even if the stars break
and are no longer there to be a part of
at least I felt whole-
for awhile.
And that-
is all I ever wanted.
