Let's pretend that we can write
And put up our website
Let's pretend we're in the pink,
Even though our writing stinks!
Let's tell folks it's poetry time!
Even though, nothing rhymes
If there was a law, we'd be doing time
because our writing is a crime!
Put up a picture of the cat,
even though he's old and fat
Maybe rhyme life would be sweeter,
if we had a dog guide leader
Hey dog! Where's the exit door?
I can't take it anymore-
If the netizens start to get bored,
let's say we won awards!
Here's one from Daffy Duck!
The fine print reads our site sucks!
Hey golly, me oh my oh-
Why not put up our bio's?
Let's say we have Ph.D's
And run the National Library of Poetry!
Even though our site's not witty-
We could have a bunch of midis-
Guests could play them and drink beer
and pretend they like it here!
Even though we can't spell-
We need our very own URL
