Was it a dream or reality?
Did I really marry him that wonderful night?
A beautiful wedding
Friends, family and more
Boy did we enjoy ourselves
Laughter galore
His wonderful smile shined at me
As he stood at the alter
I was nervous and found it hard to breathe
Walking down the aisle with him smiling up there at me
Dad by my side keeping me steady
Not even a small trip would have been noticed
Closer I came to taking his hand
Closer to being let go
No longer daddy's little angel
Now a full grown woman
About to marry a man
The time has come now to say I Do
And man do I do..
Never wanted anything more
I love him with my heart and soul
Never again will we be apart
Now it's time for us to finally start
The words are said and done
Kiss the bride
It's finally come
No longer am I daddy's little girl
I'm a wife to him
His blushing bride
A simple kiss reception next
Was it a dream or reality...
Guess I have to open my eyes to truly see...
Look at how sweet he looks as he sleeps
A wedding band on our fingers
It seemed like a dream
But now its real

Have you ever felt so strongly attached to someone that you felt you
could do anything just to prove it? Do you ever look into your lover's
eyes and sense it's you in there, dancing through his thoughts, stealing
away his very being with past memories? Does your heart dance at the
sight of his smile from across the room, making you forget how horrible
your day had just been? Glancing over in your direction, a smile creeps
to my lips and I utter a slight chuckle as you nearly fall over trying
to slip into your pajama bottoms. The dim light reflecting off your
torso seems to lighten the room with more of your pleasant radiance.
Almost in awe, I watch you slip your top over your head and onto your
body. You slide onto the bed and bury yourself under the covers.
"Hun, what are you staring at? Come over here," you say to me calmly.
Subserviently, I tip toe to the bed and glide underneath the covers and
sit up against you, feeling your arm carefully embrace me. Immediately
feeling the heat from your body, I begin to relax and the worries from
my horrendous day begin to slowly fade away into nothingness. I find it
remarkable how you have just the strangest effects on me.
Still sitting up, I lean over and softly press my lips against your
cheek. I feel one of your hands slip through my soft, brunette hair as
you turn to face me. I feel suddenly frozen within your stare, your eyes
seem to read my every thought. This feeling almost intimidates me,
knowing that you actually care about what goes on behind my icy blue
eyes.
Your hand slides from my hair and traces a line down my cheek to my neck.
I lean in towards you and pull your face to mine, passionately pressing
my lips firmly into yours. After a moment or two, I feel your tongue on
my lips so I allow mine to pass on and I take in your sweet taste. My
emotions begin to surge as our bodies become entangled within our kiss.
Your hands guide themselves up my torso, feeling each and every curve. I
feel your soft fingertips trace a circle around my breasts from under
my shirt, giving me goosebumps from the tenderness of your touch. I slip
my hands up under your nightshirt, feeling your warm, firm body
underneath. Lifting it up over your shoulders, I gently kiss your chest.
You lay me back and hover over top of me. Your scent drives me wild as
you gently kiss my neck and slip my shirt up over my head. My longing
for you has jumped to greater heights. The passion in the room flows
from the bed, spills to the floor and seems to make the room brighter.
I pull your face to mine in an attempt to look into your eyes. What I
see there surprises me. It isn't the usual lustful glaze, but merely a
look of understanding, hope, desire, possibly love...
Your lips once again lock in with mine as your hands search my body.
Slipping off my pajama bottoms, tossing them to the floor, I do the same
for you. My body shivers as the warmth of you suddenly calms me once
again. I wrap my arms around your neck, pulling you into a deep kiss, as
you lift my body up to yours and enter me smoothly but surely. I catch
my breath at the sudden entry, pure desire and pleasure taking over me.
You slowly begin to rock back and forth, reaching the depths of my most
secret places; soul and body. I utter a slight moan which seems to end
up trapped, caught by your lips. My fingertips dig into the back of your
neck as you press on deeper inside of my softness, sending me to
another place and time, locked, it seems, in another life full of wonder,
pleasure, and no troubles. I slide my fingers from your neck to your
heaving chest, feeling the perspiration begin to gather over you from
the heat of our lovemaking.
Senses aroused, body tense, emotions stirred, I find myself building
closer to sweet release. By your movements and the soft moans you
whisper into my ear, I can tell you are right there with me. My body
fully tenses as the feeling of pure and total ecstasy inhabits my very
being. Muscles contracting, I feel your own release from deep within me.
You arch your back, your grip in my hair tightens and your movements
become much more erratic. Temporarily high, my mind soars, finding the
one thing which I've now surrendered completely to. Gradually, I come
back down, back to reality and see your bright eyes staring deeply into
mine.
Unable to find the right words to say to you at the moment as you make
yourself comfortable next to me, I begin to doze. My head resting on
your chest, I hear the tender beat of your heart and the slow rise and
fall from your breathing settles me further. Soft dreams begin to dance
in front of my eyes, dreams of one such creature whom invades my most
inner thoughts, leading me back into the depths of lost exigencies and
hopeful memories.

I want to forget all my worries
could someone leave all his hurries?
for me!!!
could that be?!!
just wait and see
who might be he?!!
one day my soul will be free
just like a seed grows to a tree
just be strong
and stay where you belong

"We all go through dry spells," you said.
Words roll off the tongue
like the *click* of a newly lit cigarette
they spill out- to anyone
that slows to take a breath.
Like circles of gray around hearts to be stolen
of hands so driven...to drive me away...
never failing...to remind me
but not today...
All they're handing out- are empty hands
but yours- have been washed clean...
Hollowed be thy name.
For the wages of lavender and sin,
is emptiness.
Like those neon lights your eyes stared blankly at
they used to blink from time to time...
you were never quite sure- which ones did...
But not anymore.
You no longer feel the waste of a day
you can't breathe in again...
The daylight casts away all remains
of the memories before
and I'm stepping on your shadow
to make me think- I am keeping up.
I sit beside you
when you're not here next to me...
but I pretend you are-
and sing to you anyway.
So sweet sometimes...
it makes my stomach burn.
It melts away
like the flowers of your words
you've been waiting to get off your chest...
forever bearing- the wings of a stone
for a ~new~ blooming consciousness...

I miss your eyes, your smile,
your laugh the way you make my heart beat wild,
I miss the way you hold me while we kiss,
I wish that there was nothing to miss.
I miss you and your family even,
for the way they treated me,
I miss the way you would grab me for a kiss,
look at me that way that i deeply miss.
I wish I could be with you now and for every second of the day
from now until forever I'll miss you every day in every way.
