Unforgiving arctic winds
Violently blow through the frigid glaciers
Blue ice covers all of the land
Blinding white snow whips around every crevasse possible
Wrapping my long black leather trench around me
I press on freezing
Wishing I would have never entered
This frozen wasteland in the first place
Then I remember why I came here
A tale of a dragon king
Blue as the ice that graces his kingdom
Piercing eyes of white fire
Untouchable is he
Or so they say
Watching from the shadows
Deep within his grave of ice
Inside the great mountain is where his lair is
Filled with glistening diamonds of ice
Elegantly formed from the ceiling
Shining so bright with the sweet moon’s kiss
With this fresh in my mind again
I gather the strength to proceed
My amber hair smacking my face
Like a thousand little razors
Breathing becoming almost impossible
I just about lose all faith
And know my grave will be right where I am now
In the middle of no where
Falling face down
My strength gives out
My body becomes limp
My eyes close and all goes black
Slowly my heavy eyes open
I am wrapped in polar bears hide
So soft and warm
Then I panic
Where am I?
Opening my eyes wide
Finally able to focus
I see I am in the Kings domain
Looking around I see nothing
Then heavy breathing come close to me
My attention taken to the door
First I see sharp unforgiving claws
My heart jumps to my throat
Then the rest of the dragon king does come fourth
What splendor greatness he is
Blue and as fierce as they say
But I see something they did not,
Warmth
Sitting up I pay my respects
And thank him greatly for his generosity
He comes close to me
Places a single claw against my cheek
In his eyes of chaos and pain
A tear forms and falls silently to the floor
I stand and hug him
He wraps his mighty wings around me
We smile
Even in this cold
Baron
Never ending bitter hell
He is not as bad as what they all say
Violently blow through the frigid glaciers
Blue ice covers all of the land
Blinding white snow whips around every crevasse possible
Wrapping my long black leather trench around me
