gently gliding water
lapping at the muddy sides of their home
whispering out my name
calling me forth
with a gown of white
enveloping my body
barely covering my sensuous curves
I arise from my slumber
slowly I go to my picture window
opening the panes of glass wide
flowing breezes caress my face
like that of a lover
tingles run through out me
my long wavy autumn hair
dances like a fairy
on night's sweet breath
moon has risen high
in the obsidian night
holding me with in it silvery beams
silkening my skin with pure star dust
as if I were in a trance,
listening to the sweet sirens call from the water,
I make my way through my chamber
to the tender grass below
Intensity grow with in my heart
overwhelming feeling of pain
cries from the earth seeps through every crevasse
blood begins to pour from beneath
soft sweet beacons
become loud shrill cries
as this sweet dream
has turned into a horrid nightmare
trees bark crumble
beneath the wicked hand of man
stripping them of all there beauty
oozing their sap from their body's
leaving them to die
creatures from high and low
race to get out from under the hand of destruction
I watch
whipping my head left to right
sheer horror is all I see before my eyes
Chaos turning out of control
I finally reach the banks of the lake
fall to my knees
asking Gaia, what is happining to our beauty
Breaking into streams of tears
my hands cover my face
then a storm of epic proportions
shakes the ground with all its fury
trembling with anger and incredible sadness
I begin to call upon the four corners
begging for their help
slowly I arise chanting the five elements
hands palm up to the heavens
lightning strikes all around me
as everything is awakened from eternal sleep
my autumn hair has now turned to silver grey
gown of white is now stained red
from the very blood of the earth
Slowly I lift my hands above my head
evoking the gods and Goddesses
till no longer I can breathe
asking them for all the assistance that can be given
in a tongue not known to man
I speak to all of nature
telling them to stand strong and all will be observed soon
they do as I instruct
As the world sleeps
I chant into every bedroom
to every man woman and child
show them the horror's of the destruction
let the toss and turn
tremble with the fear
fear from the pictures of the earth as it perishes
have them awake to the shrill screams
dripping in cold sweats
Make them realise what the human race is doing to our mother
to the very earth that has breathed life into us
making the air possible
destroying the old so we, her children may have new
all my strength now abolished
i fall back to my knees
laying down in the open arms of our mother
by the sweet banks of the lake
my hand slips into the heated sapphire waters
as I whisper my thanks you to the elements
to the gods and goddess that came to my aide
paying homage to them
in a deep sleep i do fall
only to wake to a kiss from a beautiful deer
a light mist of white flowers fall like a new snow
showing how beautiful the earth truly can be.
