Sunrise on a windy cold morn Gentle sky blue fades into peach colored orange Bringing a clean slate to a night full of depression Another new beginning filled with vibrant energy
I sit here looking into the new born sky Wondering what this day will unfold The more I ponder this question The more I see the answer is within me
Shall I take a cold falls day and let the depression of loss win me over? Or shall I look to nature and all her glory Focusing on the posotives Instead of drownding in all the negitives
Human nature, on a whole, Would rather see darkness than the light Basking in the shadow of misery Forgeting the simplistic beauty
It is so much easier to look into the streets Or into another face and find all that is wrong To look to the heavens as the rain falls Wondering who passed on this day Because the angels are crying
Have you ever really sat back and noticed When bad luck is bestowed upon us We always assume the worst will happen And usually what we thought would happen did, because of us?
There are many different views in this world That is everybody right But for once, don't you think it would be nice If we all could see the precious petals of a rose And not its thorns?
