I wake in the morning.
Without warning-
You're right next to me.
Emerging from your slumber-
You're under my sheets.
You blink just to assure that it's me.
However, the instant I join you in bliss-
It's those time's I know I will miss.
Because I know it's not real,
Those feelings you don't feel.
The sunlight creeps in-
warming my eyelids.
This is the paradise-
That I dream of, but don't live.
