You can't understand-
How I see through the darkness of my eyes...
And so you blind me, with the excessive light-
Of your 'knowledge'?
The sun- always casts a shadow-
Exactly.
You never accepted the one you were given.
The one,
that wanted...
to give.
No matter how vast, I can never overcome you-
And you know, I cannot hide
from your light.

This morning I had so many things-
that I wanted to say,
But I just
slipped your mind-
and,
forgot.
And what is worse?
A clock that tells the wrong time,
Or one that doesn't tell you anything-
At all?
Would you let me devour your lies
so we can be - happy?
Or make me sit in your Silence-
and wonder-
what could've been?

You always said you would've stopped time for me...
But you were already running out-
And I was too busy...
trying to make up for Lost.
Lost, in my Night's Cloak...
but where were you, my shining star?
Were you ever?
Or did you fall...
long ago-
to never let yourself be enveloped...
by my darkness?
