You crossed the seven ocens to see me.
You endured such pain; just to know me.
Your lips so sweet, I couldn't keep you.
You stopped me from cutting those many nights.
You gave me the will to tell him I loved You.
You made me happy, when I became sad.
You took my soul in your heart; for all time.
Your dreams remained in my life, forever.
I called your name, just to feel your presence.
I have tried my best, just to please you.
I wish I could do for you the things, you've done.
I awake every night, so I could be with you.
I hear your song, in my mind, every night.
I believe you're my whole life, to this day.
I feel better about our life together, until we wed.
I love you dearly, what more is there greater to be said?
Yet another mile of waiting we must endure.
To bring us both a lifetime of great happiness, to thread.

Asha, up until now, i always thought of poetry to be a sort of discreet, read between the lines kind of thing, but this one spoke so insanely direct to me i could barely keep the images of those exact moments from rushing into my head, as i read this beautiful poem, i think my heart literally skipped a beat, every bit of sadness ive ever had since ive known you now all seems so trivial and unjustified, and my love for you has grown so much stronger ;-; its so beautiful, i literally started to cry when i read this, i swear ive never been happier in my entire time on this planet than i was when i finished this poem......... thank you so much baby this means a lot, its wonderful, its spectacular, its the singly most meaningful piece of writing in my life...

--And by the way, you said you wish you could do things for me like i've done, well, with the completion of this poem, every single moral and emotional debt you could ever have owed me, from now and even into the future as far as you can imagine, can be considered paid my dear, this is far more payment than i could ever have hoped for, this confirmation of love.
