Four Wick Candle, The Phoenix, And A Moon
in this make-believe and candle wick, call upon the great-god ra whose flames burn at four corners, living at mass with abandonment and destruction; in five hundred of your earth years, i’ll come back to you
flying like a baby, and flying your baby, flinging ourselves back into you sprung, spread as far out as solar system rubbers will allow and yanking spawn back into itself as only the golden benu bird can do.
oh great god-ra, your whole life lived in flames, and perhaps if you’d be my father, then grant my fire, a damnation of soul, grant me wings and grow me feathers and off i’ll come, burning my corners to get to you.
ending up no farther than the moon blocking earth from its light like a night-time phoenix and have not only a four wick candle, i’ll have with you a dinner, sunlit on the moon,
and we’ll be each other’s maestro.
