The eve before you leave
I can't stop crying inside
My heart aches with sadness
So much so that all i want to do is sleep
Thousand of miles will separate us
You will be having your fun
Seeing those you have missed for so long
All I can do is sit at the window waiting your return
I know it wont be for long that we will be apart
Yet seconds seem hours, as hours seem centuries
I look at you and all I want to do is keep you here
I know that is not the right thing to do
You leaving me for this time,
Is like taking a blunt spoon and carving out my soul
All I can do is stand beside you and support what you want
If I did anything else I would be wrong
I miss you already and yet,
You are only upstairs sleeping
