I was invited to post this poem here, so here it is:
A SOLDIER’S CHRISTMAS
As Christmas approaches, we wonder If peace on Earth still stands a chance – The boom of the guns, and the thunder, As projectiles shatter and glance, Distract us with turmoil and hate. Can they open our eyes and apprize us Of hard truths that shouldn’t surprise us? We should stop this, before it’s too late. The body count daily grows higher – As our moral high ground is dissolving. Mistrust and despair feed the fire, While our worldview’s sadly revolving. Let’s stop now to calculate the worth Of lasting love ... and peace on Earth.
The poem has been previously published on Poetry Life And Times.

2005
Monsters at the reigns of four horses urge unrepentant fury, in Gods name surge another crusade American, purge infidels with oil and riches to merge
don't call it marriage when man bonds with man brook no interference with God's great plan rape mother earth, plunder her resources follow Bush, on the first of the horses
sheep follow madmen, lambs to the slaughter theocracy rules, God speaks through the bush liberty enslaved, right-wingers bought her madman on the button, ready to push
peace is a concept, for which we have pled American freedom lies bleeding, dead
