Taking a Gay Life

two kids just walking alone
not knowing what they will find
one points for the other one
to look at the blood and face once kind

makeup smeared and leg bent
he looked to the kids asleep
they turn disgusted and went
that body in their mind to keep

police and medics show up to do
investigate and clean up the mess
they need not any more clues
for the killer has already confess

this killer might feel no shame
for the young gay life he took
but he is the one to be blamed
and be locked up and booked

this gay boy did no harm
to this man Murphy only for him
to take 16 years born
with a life ahead of him

how could one be so cruel
just cause this boy was only gay
they say being gay is a sin, bull
killing a gay is more a sin, I say

Now this dead young man will know his way...

I"m currently writing a poem like that at home on Matthew Shepard. This poem was so sad and based off of something that actually happened. It's a sick world we live in and you can thank these right wing Protestants for putting so much hatred to people simply for their sex lives..............just surprises me Fred Phelps hasn't been shot yet. YOu need this published dude, it's a work of art in itself
