Why do you burn yourself?" She asked.
He shrugged.
"You like the pain?"
He shrugged again, obviously embarassed.
"What? You can tune it out?" She asked.
"Yeah." He said.
She paused- smiling.
"Well, don't do it anymore...you might lose feeling."
She then continued, undisturbed.
I wondered....if he had ever had feeling,
at all...
He shrugged.
